CHRIST OUR HOPE Reformed Episcopal Extension Work WELCOMES YOU!

Thanks for visiting our website today. Be sure to sign up at the bottom of this page for our Free, Low Volume Electronic Newsletter Confessional Anglicans so we can stay in touch!

We're in the process of transferring materials from our old page to this page. It will take some time so please "excuse the mess" while this website is under construction!

Our Public Services are 11 AM Each Sunday Morning in the ROSE CHAPEL of First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceburg TN

How do you get there? From the intersection of Highways 43 and 64, you head WEST on Hwy 64, over the rail road tracks and through the stoplight which is at 64 & North Military.
First United Methodist is on the block so after going through the light, get ready to TURN LEFT at the next street which is MAHR avenue. There is parking on the street or in the lot across from the First UMC. The ROSE CHAPEL is through the double white doors. Enter that doorway, go down the hall and through the 3rd door on the left. The chapel is through that classroom. And unless you come after 11 AM, the only folks in that part of the building will be we Reformed Episcopalians milling around preparing for worship. We'll be glad to help you find a seat!

The Significance of the Reformed Episcopal Shield:

The logo is in the shape of a shield (which is white) with a red cross on it and an open Bible in thecenter of the cross. On the Bible are the Alpha and Omega. The white stands for Christ's purity, the red for His blood, the blue for his heavenly home. At the core of our faith is theWord of God, open to all and the central to the Christian life. The Alpha and Omega represent the theme of the Bible - from beginning to end, Jesus Christ. (Revelation 1.18) TheBible rests upon the blood-stained cross, the symbol of Christ's redemptive work. The shield points to the fact that we are soldiers of Christ engaged in deadly combat against Satanand his host, "taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. (Ephesians 6.16) :-- This explanation is attributed to theRev. Dr. Robert K. Rudolph and is conveyed to you today through the efforts of REC missionary and Bishop's representative Rev. Mark Rudolph.
